Just fill it before each cut!

Grab the front end and swing it away from the fence. That way you can put fuel in it. In my best Slingblade accent....."It ain't got no gas in it!"

Always fill up before you cut and you dont have that problem

Pull the trans tabs on each side of the engine and turn the parking brake off and move it around so you can pour gas in it

for Gas Refill my answer is the turbo-pump, it has a auto shut-off detector.

Mate, you’ve got to get out more… I’ve got one of these on my five acre property… just fill the bloody thing before you go out into the paddock to mow… crikey!

I use a flashlight each time before mowing, but don't have a yard big enough to burn a whole tank of gas
RogerDiotte (4 years ago (edited))
Yea I agree, even one of them gas caps with the floating gas level would be a god-send! I too am always conscious when using my 335e and it leaves me feeling anxious as I have a large farm where I get pretty far away. I'd love at least to have a reserve tank or LOL a small place to bungee a 1 gallon gas can to the mower!

Yes there is a low light indicator on it that is how you tell
americanazheck (4 years ago)
I always add a gallon between cuts..Great mower..shine a light..you can see in there
renaissancemarinetv3536 (5 years ago (edited))
that 135 is your hours run, not your battery meter. that little gas icon next to the hours is your low gas icon. it lights up when you are low.

Brother! I have this very same mower and hate that there's no fuel gauge or way to check your fuel level. My girlfriend bought it and brought it home through Lowe's and it's the biggest waste of money ever. If you'll notice, they are absolute gas hogs and go through a tank REALLY fast. I have a 2 acre yard and have no way of checking the fuel. As you said, when the light comes on, you're out. I don't understand how they missed such a basic feature on something that's pretty expensive. This is about as dumb as bicycles no longer having kick stands. Pretty soon we'll be buying vehicles with no seats.

When the low level gas light comes on you have 20 minutes of fuel left but you are right its hard to see in tank. Like mine though.
thewolf8848 (4 years ago)
well, one tank of gas is suppose to cut 2 acre of grass but i still use a measuring rod when im cutting.
iancarter9821 (4 years ago)
It’s a great mower it’s just like mine I got the same exact one as you do I like it to I love it.
robertdudley3398 (4 years ago)
Use wood stick in there that's one way. A stick that has a little bend to it.
aussiefarmwife (3 years ago)
Disengage the two back pins either side of the motor and then u can push the mower
Emergencyfire (4 years ago)
I got the same exact Mower, as you and when I get dirty like this I take me Pressure Washer, and spray the whole Mower, down and give it a good bath and get all of that dirt off of it especially underneath the Mower, deck, where all the grass gets and where the blades are. I take really good care of it by always sharpening, the blades, when I give the mower, a great wash, with my Pressure Washer.

One option is a battery operated fuel transfer pump. WalMart has them online for $16. For fueling in tight spaces, that is.
