Don’t swim on deep drop offs! Don’t swim near seals or sea lions! Odds are higher than you think!

That was 100% a predation event, no mistakes by the shark. It saw an easy meal & proceeded to entirely devour this unfortunate soul. RIP Simon Nellist

I will never understand why people go swimming in waters where they know sharks will definitely be it’s like going for a walk through the African bush where you know there are lions etc… I don’t get it..

I've always been fascinated at how violent attacks/events take place on the surface of the ocean and there is thrashing and screaming then the water is dark red with blood.......then the ocean goes back to being peaceful and quiet in an instant with no trace or evidence of such an event having ever occurred
