This is exactly why I’m glad IM the trainer, not the Pokémon. If I were using mega evolution all I need to do is touch a stone, and the Pokémon does all the hard work for me.

mega stones are replaced by meganites any pokemon can mega evolve without a trainer or key stone the one glalie touched was a glalinite or have contacted

not fun fact: glalie's mega evolution's entry actually says, the mega stone is so powerful, that it breaks glalie's jaw, making it hard and painful to do most things.
