Honestly I though of this recently, but imagine how cool it would be if ultimate art was more than just "I'm going all out now so my attack is slightly bigger and stronger" and interpreted itself as more powerful by directly changing some properties of an attack

The main problem with ultimate arts is that you can't charge them. Ultimate arts get a 1.5x damage boost but full charge is a 1.33x damage boost so ultimate arts are barley worth your time in combat.

As a lifelong mage player, yeah, you’re probably right, but also it might be good for it to stay de-powered until everyone else can get access to ults of the same level.

I usually use ult 20 blasts to start of a pve fight, it usually vaporize enemies dealing almost 2000 dmg so I dont mind tank the attacks while casting and firing the ult

Thank GOD someone says this because you can do MORE DAMAGE by just attacking twice than waiting for the stupid animation

ultimates in AA was so much better they were unique spells that you really just lob to fuck over people, no need to care about it and they dont interfere with any other part of your kit.

my fucking ultimate art blast, the one i use with a shape for extra damage, deals 100 more damage than a fully charged blast. the ONLY advantage of ults right now is because of the tier 2 debuff they cause, which you can just fully negate by blocking
