I've been to Komodo before going to Raja Ampat. Raja Ampat is better! A pain to get there, though. On the way, stopping in Manado for Lembeh strait muck diving is a good idea.

OK why in your mind only kamodo n raja empat?? N why it have to be pricey?? I can name many destinations that are very good n o 2 or 3 that are as good and on a good day can be better.. but indonesia has so many amazing reef systems I dived over 400 different dive site so I resent box ticker like you saying oh only kamodo n raja empat.. raja 4 is famous for Boi diversity so how many wrasse or damselfish can you identify?? The number over 800 different kinds.. box tickers are fools to them selves but that ok spend your big money n leave other places to people who love diving in indonesia
