I went to the 1978 Darkness on the Edge Town tour and it was not just a concert but a religious experience. It was rock music as it was meant to be: full of power, energy, joy and redemption of the soul.

Racing in the Streets is Born to Run with the Brakes on . A portrait of another America we don't often see . That is the Genius of Bruce . Just add Thunder Road for good measure .

The best fifteen minutes of piano in the history of music. If you're going to go deaf, do it for a good reason

One of my favorite pieces of Springsteen music is the segue between these two songs. It's transcendent.

One of his best. One of the E Street Bands finest moments. That's saying something

I think Roy Bittan is such an underrated part of the E St Band. How many Bruce songs rely on that gorgeous, cinematic piano?

Wow. Best Racing ever. I've bought a bunch of concerts from Bruce's website, but I've skipped this one because so much of it is on the live box set. I will finish this sentence and get out my credit card.

Some modern-slop AI-voiced ad right as the final “tonight, tonight” verse of Racing started… fun!
