Gloria's Concert Archive Just so you guys know, I'm rebranding my channel from Starship Zooropa to Gloria's Music Archive since my content recently hasn't been as U2 and Yes-centric as it used to be, and it feels like it's about time for an update. (1 year ago)

Gloria's Concert Archive In case you haven't seen my previous post, I am moving my David Bowie content to a new channel, I already have three uploads up, including a Mike Millard tape https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6BunD... (1 year ago)

Gloria's Concert Archive I'm not used to writing things like this, but it has been brought to my attention that Ozzy Osbourne, legend and original lead singer of Black Sabbath has passed away. Ozzy brought so many masterpieces of music into the world, including the 9 studio albums he did while in Black Sabbath. Rest In Peace Ozzy, you'll be missed by millions. (1 year ago)

Arguably the greatest collection of musical talent in a single band we have ever seen. We shall not see their likes again.

Awaken is other-worldly. Just an incredible piece of music. I attended this tour in 1991 in Sacramento CA. Second row. I've been to a lot of YES concerts since the 70's, and this was one of the best. So much talent on that stage. Simply amazing. And unforgettable. RIP Christopher Russell Edward Squire, bass deity. It was a pleasure meeting you in 2000 and talking with you about Ric basses.

At the Tampa Florida show, when Chris finished his solo at the beginning of heart of the sunrise he fell to his knees. They had one of those in the round stages and he hit the stage so hard that the power went out. It only lasted a moment or two and yet the audience could have been more thrilled, more time to cheer

Truly amazing having all of these great musicians, singers, and songwriters together (hence Union): two great guitarists, two amazing keyboardists, and two incredible drummers. Only one singer like Jon, and Chris who is probably the greatest bass guitarist ever-his sounds and riffs are one of a kind. Thanks for sharing this. Only got to the end of "Heart of the sunrise" so far but is probably one of the greatest progressive rock songs of all time. Yours is no disgrace is the longest version ever with the two guitarists competing a bit but understandable. Rick Wakeman's fingers seem to glide over the keys like no one, and Tony Kaye plays some amazing stuff. Bill looks like he's about ready for a Japanese fight in his uniform (ha ha!). I was skeptical about the two drummers at first, but they worked well together complimenting the band and each other. I enjoyed the harmonies of "Rhythm of Love" that sounds a bit like the Beach Boys, a nice twist to the song.

The all-time lineup.

Only YES tour I saw twice. Later I read than many of them were so unhappy with the album and the politics surrounding it but basically loved being on stage and playing together.

I saw Yes on this tour in Phoenix at the Desert Sky Pavilion. I had never seen them before and was blown away. I got to meet Jon Anderson that night before the show.

Chris - the only human that can make a Rick bass look tiny.

Thank you for sharing. I was at this show and it was as amazing as everyone says it was. Ah, to be in the presence of greatness...

Wasn’t this called the reunion tour.

I saw them on this tour at Wembley Arena in the round, I still have the t-shirt. Probably one of the most memorable concerts I have ever attended. This particular performance of Awaken was a transcendental experience, helped along with a dose of illegal substance.
