I'm speechless. What kicks off the middle eight or whatever is so exciting. I'm soon to be 68 and love the Beatles more than ever. With reason. A lot of us were so lucky to be around in their heyday; the world will never see their like again.

The Beatles and their music of the 1963-1965 era was so cool, unique, captivating and unequaled. Their chord structure and music-song arrangements had that special formula that never gets tired. They were pretty hype performers on stage as well.

My brother was doing a university degree in music. During a lecture devoted to harmony, a Beatles song was used to illustrate unexpected transitions and chordal complexity. Totally accomplished musicians. So many songs of outstanding quality.
