Gary’s mom knew he had a drug problem and she still trusted him with her money to go to the store for her. I was proud of Gary for doing the right thing

Rest in peace TK Carter. Thank you for your contribution to this culture of ours.

R.I.P. T.K. You were an amazing actor. Especially as Gary.

Glad to see Lester Freeman turned his life around lol

T.K. should've won an Emmy off this role. Thank you and may you R.I.P.

I was born and raised on Pratt And Monroe, and was HEAVILY INVOLVED in the narcotics trade from 1988-2010, I know David Simon (and his wife, Laura Lippman) well.

A powerful performance in one of the realest shows ever made. Thank you for your work, T. K. Carter (December 18, 1956—January 9, 2026). Rest in Power. 🏾

One of the saddest moments is when he chose that stuff over than playing basketball with his son.

Omg omg omg ive been looking for this for so long YOU THE MAN OR WOMAN FOR UPLOADING THIS

If it wasn't for The Corner we wouldn't have gotten The Wire

R.I.P. T.K. ️

To everyone staying sober, or struggling, be blessed

When i start to feel sorry for myself and im depressed, i watch the corner.

I like how Simon made major role reversals when it came time for The Wire. Lester Freeman was a junkie on the Corner, Jay Landsman the scrap metal dealer, Leandor is DeAndre’s homie RC, Fran’s sister became Reddick’s Wife (and a councilwoman or something). It’s crazy seeing them all dirty and f’d up on The Corner
