Everytime Jeremy's about to catch the fish that he's after, it always come out as like a boss fight with the scenery and settings. Like in this episode, he spent days looking for this eel with no success but then just as he's about to give up, he came across this one tiny pond in the open with the eel in the middle of it just like an end game boss fight lol and this hasn't been the only case! The ones he did with the Arapaima fish too, the scenery was in a nice looking deep quiet pond just like a boss fight.

me and my dad used to watch him and laugh at and admire this guy. he does the most ridiculous things and is a wealth of skill and ability.

I’ve met Jeremy twice now and he’s such a nice humble guy :-) he does this for education and exploration not fame hungry at all. He obviously has huge balls too to grapple this Eel hahaa :-)

For some reason I thought the eel in the thumbnail was a trap for it.

The electric eel can make a shock 860-1050 volts. Larger voltages have been reported, but the typical output is sufficient to stun or deter virtually any animal. When agitated, they can produce these intermittent electric shocks over at least an hour without tiring.

Putting a lot of faith in strength of that tree branch

Always makes me laugh when the re enactment inserts the super obvious, i.e electric crackling sound. I was thinking Francisco died from quiet despair till that point.
