Thanks for the vid man, super helpful. My PS3's fan would go full blast just browsing the Playstation store, and made watching DVDs unbearable because of how loud it was; it sounded like a blow dryer. I opened it up and found like 2 pounds of dust; it was insane. It's running super quiet now, thanks again!

@MrCubsruiz Thanks for responding. I found a vid on youtube on how to get discs out, without breaking the console open and it worked. You have to switch it off first, keep your finger on the eject button and then turn the switch (on the back of the PS3) back on again (while keeping your finger on the eject button). The PS3 will then start the fanning system, keep pushing eject and the disc will eject. Worked perfectly! Thanks anyway man..

I just did this, but I had to even go further than he did, because I was using one of them air cans to blow out dust through the slot of the blu-ray and the little straw blew off into there, so I couldn't use my PS3, because it wasn't reading the disc, so I had to open the PS3 and the blu-ray to get the straw out. Works fine now.
