I thought in Creed ll, Rocky passed the torch to Adonis and that it was time for Rock to share his life with his son. That was a good send off

Very confusing indeed. But I feel Rocky got his happy ending in Creed 2 where he went to Canada to reconnect with his son and begin building a bond with his grandson. After all he's been through, I think this was the best possible way to conclude Rocky's story, he gets to finally settle down and live out the rest of his days in peace surrounded by loved ones.

For the simple fact that he’s even willing to come back for Creed 4 is a blessing in itself!!!!

The whole reason creed is here is because of Rocky... He should be in every movie... We watch to see how rocky is and what he does in every movie..

Rocky did tell Adonis near the end of Creed 2, “It’s YOUR time.” That seemed like a bow out to me.

I see Creed III as kind of a stand-alone story that focuses on an individual journey in Adonis’s life. I feel Rocky had served his role as mentor in Creed II and could show up again in Creed’s life when it organically feels right. I see nothing wrong here. Creed’s not taking over the Rocky mantle. There are plenty of stories to tell under the umbrella of Rocky’s universe.

I watched the movie last night and I thought of a few moments rocky could have popped up, not as a trainer, just as a friend. Rocky has always helped creed channel his feelings. I think rocky could have shown up for the funeral and in the moment right before creed fought. It was almost like he paid homage to rocky though never forgetting what he was taught because he repeated the lines “one step at a time one punch at a time one round at a time” and I thought it was nice they put that in there to show everything creed learned helped him in that moment. But the movie was solid without rocky in my opinion. Maybe rocky can teach his grandson he’s now spending time with how to box and they meet up at creeds gym and it turn into something. All in all I don’t think it’s bad that they’re going a different direction with creed to show his own life and the directions that’s going

As someone who absolutely loves Sylvester Stallone and watched every part of rocky multiple times to this day I’m fine with him not being in Creed 3 because they already showed us in creed 2 that he was on the urge of passing and does not have much left in him. Putting him in the movie will just delay things more and will stop Creed from progressing
