A quick short cut is there’s a hash brown with onions and peppers at woodmans - frozen isle no added oils or salts

I don't know why I've never thought of batch cooking and freezing burritos but this is a game changer!! Thanks for the awesome recipe!

A lot of people don't know that if you heat up your flour or corn tortillas first they are 200% more pliable. No more tears, rips and they have some stretch to them for tucking/rolling. Make sure you tuck in the ends of your burritos or else everything will just fall out of one side :) These look great! Fresh onions, bell peppers and salsa are much cheaper, but more labor. I like making a quick canned whole tomato salsa in the blender like restaurants do.

Aldi has oat/flax tortillas that as 12grams of protein each. They are definitely not as stretchy as the carb balance, though.

Hello. I did your recipient yesterday. Found the same Mission tortillas, made my own salsa, and cooked the potatoes with mushrooms. I dont have a scale, but I made 11 chunky burritos. The preparation takes a little while, but I don't mind. Thank you for inspiring us to make this delicious and affordable recipe!

I made burritos for dinner last night and WAY over made due to dry vs cooked lentil quantity . Made a batch of extra burritos and froze them plus had leftover ingredients to roll over into a new dish tomorrow.

Well done! I love potatoes in my burritos, I hardly ever see people using them. I use a combo of white and sweet potatoes. To increase the nutrients of my burritos I will also add some Costco frozen mixed vegetables to mine too. Sound weird but they are delicious, and real cheap.
