once again, it shows what a bad idea it was to fire frank darabont. that man created much better plot lines and dialogues between characters than any other person in that staff.

It was dumb to cut that scene. When I was watching the series, I asked why they didn't go back to the Vatos. I thought it was stupid that they didn't. Turns out they did and we just didn't get to see it.

I love how the early seasons had more realistic threats, T Dog almost dies to an infection, Carl's recovery was complicated and long, Sophia got lost in the woods, and this deleted scene showing how stamina could have very easily gotten Shane killed.

It's criminal that this whole sequence got cut. It establishes so many character dynamics in the 2nd season and ties in nicely with the season 1 finale. AMC could put this opening in the streaming version of the show, but we all know that's not gonna happen lol
