YouTube is probably the closest thing we'll get to a time machine for a long long time

Having a capture card in 2009 was pretty fucking sick

I find it incredibly neat this was documented. Little piece of the 360s history that probably would've gone forgotten. And to see the Blade dashboard still functioning and alive with XBL is such a treat. Even seeing the NXE dashboard still functioning with XBL takes me back.

The Xbox 360 (specifically 2005-2010) will live on as the greatest console of all time

Probably the most remarkable thing they did with NXE was keep the Blades dash within it. I never really paid close attention to it, but the guide in NXE is just a small version of Blades. Very clever design on their part. NXE was cool because of it's interesting styling to match the branding of the 360, where Blades focused more on the physical design of the console. Well played Microsoft.

I never played online with the Blades dashboard.

The frutiger aero intro was something else.
