My father fought in WW2.He would be horrified to see after all the sacrifice given,only to give europe away now without a shot fired.

My grandfather was the Sapper bulldozing corpses into a mass grave in Belsen.

I would have had former Nazi cameramen film the footage for viewing in the POW camps.

My Grandfather, I never met, fought as infantry in WWII, My father who is retired Army and Vietnam vet said his dad never spoke much. I'm retired Army as well. We all saw things we can't forget. But the WWII footage is of things dad and I never saw. We saw different horror. Dad different than mine.

My grandpa killed six Germans on Omaha beach before he was shot and captured. Sadly it was 1984.

After 1946 all the German public education system changed their history content, the lessons included the concentation camps. Also the public policies in German changed in many ways.

It was a prisoner of war camp in Newport News Virginia, it's now a mobile home park.

The psychology of 'opinion changing' has come a long way since WW2. Showing a movie doesn't do it. Successful politicians and the advertising industry know it well today.

A slice of history containing descriptive condition of how people of war coming from different culture all drawn to fight for something just a group of people greedy for power and dominion. Bt this, the whole world from all countries was turned upside down resuulting to lose of lives and the survivors, to pick up the pieces and move on bearing the pain and loses of once life well lived. And all because of a group of people's hunger for superiority.

The REAL truth? behind all of this... we will never know... War is war and records are edited/classified. My grandpa was in 101st. a paratrooper over nornandy. but he refused to speak of the war... I only know that he got shot in the neck and lived..
