Remote Darren Thank you so much for the support on my latest video. I will be back with another video on Saturday, 17 October, and this will be one of my most special videos I have ever created. It'll be a vlog from my registry of marriage day. πŸ’ Who would have thought over a decade ago, when I left my job of 24 years to travel and work remotely, that I would be getting married in Malaysia in my early 50s. Travelling around the world, living in cities for 30-90 days, and then suddenly out of nowhere, Wincy comes into my life in one of my favourite cities in the world. By the end of the year, I would like to get to 30K subscribers, so, if you know anyone who loves Malaysia as much as I do, please share the channel with them. See you all on the 17th, with a video I never imagined that I would create. (2 weeks ago)

Remote Darren Let's try this again! New video every Saturday, starting from Saturday 17 October. The channel will be focused around life living and working in Kuala Lumpur, and travels around Malaysia. I would like to go to my final state, Perlis at some point this year, and revisit some of my favourite states like Sabah, Johor and Perak. If you have any questions please leave them on this post and I will answer them in upcoming videos. Thanks for the support. πŸ’™β€οΈπŸ€ (2 weeks ago (edited))

Remote Darren Apologies for the silence over the past 3 weeks! Something pretty BIG happened πŸ˜‚ I proposed to my now fiancΓ©e over our 2nd anniversary dinner and she said YES! πŸ™ŒπŸΌ I’ll be away from Malaysia for two weeks as we’re heading to the UK! Should I do a video of the trip? Like the post and if it gets more then 100 thumbs ups πŸ‘πŸ» I’ll film our trip! (4 months ago)

Remote Darren Thinking about living in Malaysia is exciting. Planning the actual move is where it gets complicated. Where should you live? What should you sort before arriving? How do you avoid choosing the wrong area? What does daily life really feel like once the holiday feeling wears off? I’ve started Make Malaysia Home, a free weekly email for foreigners thinking seriously about building a real life in Malaysia. It is practical advice on moving here, settling in, choosing where to live, and understanding everyday life before making big decisions. If Malaysia is on your mind for retirement, remote work, work relocation, DE Rantau, MM2H, MTEP, or another long-stay route, you can subscribe here: https://makemalaysiahome.com/ #kualalumpur #malaysia #livinginmalaysia (5 months ago)

I am French and I confirm ! Malaysia is the country where we feel safe, we feel human love, where we eat well and where people smile more than everywhere else... It's Malaysia that is really the land of true smile!

As another fellow Brit living in Malaysia I also have to chime in on how well Malaysia has handled the whole MCO. I also want to say how grateful I am to be living in such a beautiful country with hospitable and gracious people.

While some people talking bad about Malaysian’s Government to handle this Pandemic, saying that we are racist towards the foreigners, then you came here to fix the perception about Malaysia. Thanks Uncle Darren. We Malaysian really appreciate it.

yeah...I am still trying to work off my Nasi Lemak weight! Glad to hear that Malaysia handled it well. I still have an Airbnb booked in Kota Kinabalu in October. Hoping I get to go.
