Make sure you always carry out a proper descaling when it alerts you to. One of the great things about the machine is the speed at which it's ready and this is due to the method it uses to heat the water through a very narrow channel. This leaves it prone to fur up with scale particularly in hard water areas. Once that component is completely clogged there's no real way to clear it but when this happened to me I was able to buy a replacement part for about £70. Quite a fiddly job to repair too so much cheaper and easier to do a proper and regular de-scaling.

Is there some kind of non slip mat you can put under the machine to help keep it in place when attaching the portafilter?

Same coffee machine

craving a coffee now!!

Hi Alice, would you recommend this machine if I use pre-ground coffee with pressurised baskets? I do not plan to buy a grinder and will mainly drink oat milk cappuccinos.

Do you buy special coffee.

I can confirm, alice makes amazing coffees with this machine 🏻
