Lil' update: My grandpa ended up in the hospital over another severe UTI that caused the same issues from before: Delirium, tiredness/weakness, going into renal failure, etc... Really long story short: He seems to have recovered fully from it as the docs said there wasn't any kidney damage (again), but this time it took longer and thus it was especially scary... I asked docs and physical therapists if there were ways we didn't already know on how to prevent them and there doesn't seem to be much you can do. They just seem to be something the elderly are more prone to for varying reasons. So there's always that "I hope it isn't a UTI again..." worry that creeps in whenever we think we notice something, you know?
For house repair stuff, it's "mostly" done. Yes, that's right, they're STILL not finished. Long story short with that too: They use the wrong bathroom paint (Matte instead of gloss, so stuff like steamy showers make wetness run and discolor it), don't have the floor transition strip between the dining room and kitchen (They said they lost it somewhere...), then same with a piece from our chandelier. Our downstairs toilet was also reinstalled improperly so it started leaking in the basement. Though they at least got someone on that the day we found it. So luckily there wasn't any more real damage. They didn't replace the water-warped dining room closet door either, only refinished it. So we got on them about that and they took it without protest... Like 2 months ago, claiming that they need to send it out to be remade. Still no sidesplash for the new bathroom vanity as one was supposed to order it yet only did so recently. Among other things... So they're a ridiculously irresponsible and disorganized company. Needless to say the insurance company is not happy with them as this all should've been done months ago, stating that they are threatening them with removal of companies they call for repair work. Which would be a huge blow to their business as they'd lose consistent work.

Two In The Groove/Stepmania tournaments are going on if you are up to joining them!
There's East Coast Stamina 10.5 which is a team-based event (Though you can play solo like I always do, it's just much harder, lol!). It's running through May 16:

There's a whole bunch of stamina content that is premiering here so that alone is worth checking out as you'll get to play a bunch of new stuff. Like the last few Groovestats stamina competitions, you have to be up to playing at least 11s (12s for the marathons), so if you find that inaccessible, don't like stamina or just wanted to play in a different sort of tournament...
There's the International Timing League Online 2022 which runs through June 24:

There's new content here too! Charts start at 7s so chances are most players can pass something in it. The majority of stuff here are what are called "technical" charts though, so unless you don't already play tech, there will be a lot of patterns that are new to you. They have a FAQ on it to get players up to speed on stuff like that though:

(Click "What are all of the two-letter technique notations? (XO, FS, BR, etc.)" to expand it) There's a bit of stamina in it too from 11-16 if you prefer (Sort of like how Stamina RPG 5 has a splash of tech), along with stuff that doesn't have tech in general. So chances are you'll find something you'll like. Or maybe just want to challenge yourself to try and pass as much as you can. They give bonus points for varying levels of full combos too, so accuracy is paramount.
