This could wreak your 200$ locomotive, driving over the ballast can lead to it getting stuck in the gears seizing and burning out the motor...

This is a great way to damage some outer details on your $150-$185 locomotive not to mention the chassis but seeing its closed off it seems fine.. but do what you like, ive come to terms that we can do whatever, plus its a bachmann model.
