Everyone who reads this, we don't know each other and probably never will but I wish you all the best in life! Take Care

Maybe it won't happen in my life time but one day our progeny won't identify themselves by country or race but what part of the stars they hail from.

Graduated from college in 1964 so I lived through all of this. I’m 83 and will fight for what this song is about until I take my last breath.

Who's still listening to this in 2026 cause this is exactly what we need

I first heard this song in the summer of 1964. I was in the Army in Germany when my brothers turned me onto it. It quickly became the Black National Anthem. It remains one of the most powerful songs I have ever heard.

Song needs to be heard now more than ever.

Listening to this in the dark with headphones and my eyes closed took me to another place. Spiritual.

I tear up when hearing this song every time. There will never be another singer like Sam Cooke. He had so much soul and passion in each and every song he sang and he sang with his heart. Sad we lost him when we did but his songs to this day especially this one, will be powerful

Sam Cooke recorded this song on January 30, 1964.

The most beautiful song ever. Sam Cooke’s voice is so angelic

One of the most beautiful songs ever written

if any song on YouTube has a billion views, it should be this one

This song is for everyone who needs strength and faith that change is a comin'.

The struggle is not over, and we desperately need to hear this today. So much has gone wrong because of the Orange Turd and his people. The resistance grows and hopefully, the midterms will end this nightmare.
