Description
Atlanta Black Star is a narrative company. We publish narratives intentionally and specifically to enlighten and transform the world.

The Power Of Narratives

In all instances where human values, personality and behaviors are in-congruent with those that are desired, a new level of consciousness is required. And for over a hundred-thousand years, humans have effectively used narratives to develop the type and level of consciousness necessary to achieve their goals and objectives. As such, human consciousness is developed based on the narrative that dominates the mind. Therefore the creation of any level of consciousness requires a narrator with the necessary authority to create, authorize and propagate the requisite narrative.

Consequently, Atlanta Black Star was created to publish empowering narratives for all people of African descent and everyone who adheres to our culture.

Atlanta Black Star Dolly Parton, the beloved country music icon whose voice, songwriting and unmistakable spirit touched generations, has died at 80. Through her Imagination Library, she helped put millions of books into the hands of children around the world. She also founded Dollywood and used her platform and resources to support literacy, education, disaster relief and other charitable causes. Dolly Parton’s impact was bigger than the stage. She was a songwriter, storyteller, businesswoman, humanitarian and cultural icon who remained deeply connected to her roots. Parton also wrote “I Will Always Love You,” but Houston’s legendary 1992 rendition transformed the song into a global phenomenon. Rather than simply pocketing the millions she earned from Houston’s version, Parton invested some of those royalties into an office complex in a historically Black Nashville neighborhood. She later called it “the house that Whitney built.” That gesture reflected something larger about Parton’s legacy: her music crossed racial and cultural boundaries, and she openly celebrated the Black artists who helped carry her work to new generations. Rest in peace, Dolly. 🕊️💔 https://atlantablackstar.com/2021/08/... (1 month ago (edited))

Atlanta Black Star Halle Berry made 60 look like a whole lifestyle. The Oscar winner celebrated her 60th birthday (August 14) with longtime partner Van Hunt at Zadún, a secluded oceanfront retreat in Cabo San Lucas. The romantic getaway included a private-pool suite, cocktails in a poolside cabana, a couples massage, hydrotherapy and a private yacht ride across the Sea of Corteés. Halle and Van even created their own wine together, while enjoying everything from fire-cooked cuisine to beachside dining. 60, loved up and surrounded by luxury, Halle Berry knows how to celebrate! Atlanta Black Star Today, Malcolm-Jamal Warner would have celebrated his 56th birthday. Generations knew him as Theo Huxtable on ‘The Cosby Show,’ but his legacy also includes ‘Malcolm & Eddie,’ ‘Reed Between the Lines’ and ‘The Resident.’ Beyond acting, he was a Grammy-winning musician, poet and director. Warner passed away unexpectedly at 54 in July 2025 after being caught in a strong ocean current while vacationing in Costa Rica. A year later, his estate remains at the center of a legal dispute. His widow, Tenisha Warner, sued his mother, Pamela Warner—the estate’s trustee—seeking more than $1.2 million she says is owed under their premarital agreement and other obligations. Pamela recently announced a proposed settlement that would reportedly give most of the estate to Malcolm’s 9-year-old daughter, but it still needs court approval. (1 month ago)

Atlanta Black Star Two Phoenix police officers who received 24-hour unpaid suspensions in 2024 after falsely arresting an innocent Black man had their punishments overturned by the city’s Civil Service Board earlier this year. Those cops aren't fighting crime, they're making money for the city.

The way she says he harassed her and interfered with her “investigation” is so scummy, she does not deserve to be a cop.

For people who don’t know how this sting works and what’s going on here. The undercover police officers are portraying someone whose phone is “dead” but looking for a ride from someone that works for Uber, Lyft, rideshare etc. See normally you have to use the app, because it tracks down the rides you give and how much money you make for tax purposes. But since the undercover police officers are acting like their phone is dead, they are looking to pay a driver without using the app, so the driver would make money under the table and not have to pay taxes on it. They are worried about the fucking 6% of taxes someone might skip out on $20 when in reality this shit might really happen to someone’s phone that really died and is looking for a ride home with kids with them. It’s really fucked up

How is he interfering with an investigation if a crime wasn’t committed yet?

Cops: “we don’t understand why people hate us so much?”
tweedyburd007 (5 years ago)
Instead of solving actual crimes like murders and kidnaps, these cops are trying to sting people for not paying tax on Uber. They should be ashamed.

They're actually mad because they realized that you have all the requirements for the Detective job they'll never qualify for.

Notice how quickly backup police react to this but not actual emergencies.

I hate how Cocky the female cop was when she got out the car. Like she was ready to whoop some ass. They are there to protect us, not just have power
