Sleepy Tech came into being some 300 years ago sometime after a nameless person on Earth attempted to assume the position of guardian of Earth, he was denied the position due to the evil that occulted within (a guardian's motives must be pure, but the nameless person also wanted the job for the power it brought). As a result, the person concentrated and trained to relinquish the evil within; which conspired into producing two separate entities. One good. One evil. — if one should perish, the other would also. This resulted in two beings — the concentrated evil being known as Sleepy Tech. And another....
I have often heard you humans refer to this as fate or destiny. Only the weak utter such nonsense. It is different for the truly powerful: they create this so-called destiny with their own hands.
